The average RN salary in Connecticut, according to May 2018 data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), is $75,050. This is significantly more than the national average of $65,470. In the state of Connecticut, RNs with earnings in the top tenth percentile are paid more than $99,730. Those with earning above the 75th percentile make more than $88,830. RNs in this state with earnings below the 25th percentile make less than $65,120. Those with earnings in the bottom tenth percentile make less than $55,480.

Though the average RN salary in Connecticut is higher than the national average, this is more than offset by the increased cost of living here. Salaries in this area range from under $56,950 to more than $105,340. Though the earnings are higher in this area of the state, the cost of living is also higher. It is important to consider both potential salary and expected cost of living when searching for a job.
